Once you have registered with us and chosen the type of protection you would like, we will be in contact to get your device ready for its initial setup and talk about architecture you are currently running so you can get the most out of the type of service you have chosen. There will be 1 tiny application to install, and this is it from yourself as then your computer will be connected to our servers so you will get all the necessary updates every time, they become available.
In short terms yes. Once you are all setup then as long as your device is turned on and connected to the internet then updates and optimisation jobs can be sent direct to your device whilst you are working. Most of the time you will not realise they are being done as we believe you should be able to use your device as before knowing you are fully protected and not being affected in your daily routine.
Yes, you can use your device as normal, turn it on and off when you want to. If your device misses an update as it was turned off, for example you go on holiday, then when you next turn it on all the missed updates and jobs will resume once it is turned back on and connected to the internet.
Yes, as long as it’s running a recent version of Windows (ideally 10 or 11) then your device is compatible. If you are on an older version of Windows, then we can help upgrade this for you to a newer version should your device be compatible.
We also Support MAC and Linux devices including servers running Windows and Linux.
If there are any issues with your device from running slow, overheating, running low on disk space and more we will be the first to know and we can let you know the options to get this rectified for you.
